Solvent and chemical resistant labels made from a tear-proof thermoplastic film, these removable labels are ideal for use in animal facilities, medical and clinical laboratories, veterinary clinics as well as the medical research industry. These chemical resistant labels are coated with a glove-friendly adhesive that makes them easy to manipulate and apply, and ensures they can be removed without leaving behind any residue. When our XAR class of solvent resistant resin ribbons is used to print the labels, a robust printout is obtained, capable of withstanding harsh chemicals and solvents, including xylene, toluene, acetone, ethanol and other alcohols, industrial thinners and oils. They are resistant to continuous wiping and rubbing with 100% DMSO as well as surface sanitizing wipes such as Sani- Wipe™, Eco-Wipe™ and Eco-Wipe™ Duo.

Ideal for labelling a variety of surfaces including glass, polypropylene, stainless steel and aluminium. These removable solvent resistant labels are perfectly suited for animal cages, including commonly used metal cages for big rodents and mustelids. Their robust printout provides not only a resistance to various chemicals but also washing and scrubbing with detergents as well as chemical spraying. For ease of identification and colour coding, these removable labels are available in a range of bright colours, while their extra-durable design ensures they retain their vibrant colours through multiple wash cycles.

These colour solvent resistant labels can also be used in research labs and industrial environments to label bottles, flasks, chemical drums and other containers used to either store harsh chemicals and solvents or that may come in contact with them. The labels can be immersed in xylene for up to 15 minutes without detaching or peeling, and the printout can withstand up to 2 hours without smudging or fading.

Printable with all major commercially available thermal transfer printers, including CAB, Citizen, Datamax O’neil, Zebra and more, they accept alphanumeric text, serial numbers, as well as 1D and 2D barcodes.
