Solvent Resistant Removable Blockout Labels

Removable blockout labels made of a waterproof and tearproof thermoplastic film and coated with a glove-friendly adhesive that allows them to be removed without leaving behind any glue residue. The blackout labels are specifically designed for flat plastic, metal and glass surfaces such as microscope slides and can conceal any already existing information, while their ease of removal ensures they will not damage the information underneath. Moreover, their unique construction allows these removable labels to withstand spraying with harsh chemicals and solvents, including xylene, toluene and alcohols, in addition to continuous wiping with surface sanitizing wipes, such as Sani-Wipe™, Eco-Wipe™ and Eco-Wipe™ Duo.

These solvent resistant cover-up labels are designed to withstand a wide temperature range, from -79°C to +93°C (as tested on glass microscope slides). The black-out labels are perfectly suited for re-identifying slides marked with incomplete, unclear, or erroneous information. They will also preserve their integrity and adhesion when stored in extreme low-temperatures in laboratory freezers, simplifying the identification of glass microscope slides and other flat surface containers for storage.

Printable with all major thermal-transfer barcode printer brands, the labels accept alphanumeric text, serialized information as well as 1D and 2D barcodes. They are supplied in roll format for easy dispensing, and are available on 1” or 3” cores.
