StainTUFF™ Labels

StainTUFF^TM are highly durable chemical resistant labels, that don’t require any additional laminate or protection. They withstand sequential exposure to xylene, toluene, alcohol, acetone, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), acrylonitrile (ACN), methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), 91 Octane gasoline (15 minutes) as well as other chemicals, organic solvents, running water and histological staining reagents. Wear and tear proof, resistant to abrasion, scratches and smudging, these xylene-resistant labels are also grease and oil proof, able to resist exposure to 10W-30 oil, and dirty synthetic oil for two hours. They're resistant to continuous wiping and rubbing with surface sanitizing wipes such as Sani- Wipe™, Eco-Wipe™ and Eco-Wipe™ Duo.

STAINTUFF™ labels are ideally suited for histological staining, with a unique composition that renders them particularly resistant to stains, ensuring they do not acquire colours from reagents such as haematoxylin or eosin. These versatile histology labels can be used throughout the entire staining procedure, as they adhere to containers, microscope slides and even directly to paraffin wax blocks.

Compatible with all commercially available thermal transfer printers (CAB, Datamax-O’neil, Zebra, Printronix etc.). Our XAR-class of resin ribbons provide a durable chemical resistant printout.

These labels resist standard ethylene oxide gas sterilization, entailing a 60-minute exposure to 759 mg/L of ethylene oxide gas, at 55^oC, and 40-80% relative humidity.
